Biking Information

Riding your bike is a great form of transportation that can save you money over driving and parking. If you live too far to ride the entire distance, keep in mind that TriMet buses, MAX, and the Portland Streetcar are equipped to accommodate bicycles.

There are plenty of bike racks, and the campus is bike friendly. Secured bike lockers can be rented through the City of Portland's Bike Program, (503) 823-6841.

PSU Bicycle Co-op
Transportation & Parking Services also manages a cooperative bike shop on campus. Located at the University Center Building (UCB), on the corner of 5th & Harrison (just inside the parking garage). The bike co-op is currently open Monday through Friday from 12:00pm to 5:00pm. For only a $15 annual fee, we offer access to tools, bicycle repairs and small parts/accessories. PSU Cycling Club
The Portland State University Cycling Club develops and promotes cycling at all levels of participation and competition. The club promotes the sport of cyling through group rides, bike tours, cycling events and collegiate competition. For more information please visit the Cycling Club Website.
