Transportation planning and sustainability efforts are undertaken to accommodate a growing student population through:(1) a decrease in the percentage of faculty, staff and students who drive alone to campus, and (2) an increase in the percentage of faculty, staff, and students who rely on alternative transportation modes (transit, bicycling, walking, or carpooling) as their primary means of traveling to and from campus.

Bicycle Transportation ReportEach Spring, PSU conducts a bicycle survey to understand perceptions, experiences, motivations and challenges related to bicycling to PSU.
